Ms Anne Johnston

Anne Johnston has held the role of Transfusion Medicine Scientist at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service for Victoria and Tasmania for the past two years.

Prior to joining the Blood Service, Anne spent five years at the Department of Health in Victoria, where she held roles as a Senior Project Officer, Senior Policy Officer and Program Advisor. 

Anne has been a Senior Lecturer and Unit Leader in Haematology at the RMIT School of Medical Sciences, has worked internationally with Medécins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and has more than 20 years' experience working as a scientist in Melbourne hospitals including The Alfred, The Royal Melbourne, St Vincent's, The Austin and Box Hill.
