Ms Liz Lennox

Ms Liz Lennox joined the Australian Red Cross Blood Service as a Transfusion Medicine Scientist for Queensland in November 2011 after having had many years of experience in transfusion laboratories. Her current role is Transfusion Medicine Scientists Team Leader.

Her background includes scientific management of the transfusion service for Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology as well as more recently laboratory management. She has a keen interest in scientist education and training. She has a passion for ensuring young scientists have the skills to perform and passion for Transfusion Medicine and enjoys sharing her experience gained over many years. 

Liz has been involved in coordinating the content for the Transfusion subject for the Medical Science Course at Bond University and delivering some of these lectures. 

Her interests include spending time with family, travel, gardening and live theatre.
