Dr Alison Carver

Dr Alison Carver is a public health researcher with an overall focus on health-related behaviour change, having gained her PhD in Behavioral Epidemiology at Deakin University. Alison's research at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service focuses on donor behavior and includes examination of facilitators and barriers regarding whole blood and plasma donation. In particular Alison is trying to understand how to recruit and retain males aged from 20-40 years as blood donors.
